Fourth day volunteering at nursing home
So today I didn’t get to stay as long because they weren’t going to have activities for the residents. Today was the third day of me volunteering and it actually went by very fast. First we picked out a movie for the residents to watch which was Tarzan. Second Day at nursing home
So today I helped the residents at the nursing home decorate shamrocks with stickers and glitter. Many got very creative, one decorated the border of the shamrock with little shiny shamrocks and she put gold coins and glitter in the center. First day volunteering at nursing home
So today I began volunteering at the nursing home close by my house and the experience gave me mixed emotions. When I arrived they had me grab some of the games that were on shelves and separate and place them on the tables for when the residents when brought in to play the games.
